Preview scope

The current target is Windows x64. macOS, iOS and Android are not supported distributions. Preview behavior and compatibility may change. Keep independent backups of important files and app data.

Your files and external services

Use documents you have authority to process and send to the selected provider. Do not submit confidential or personal information unless you have the necessary permission and have checked the provider's terms. The app uses your OpenAI API credentials. Your provider account, service terms and charges remain separate; the app does not include API credits. Estimates are not spending caps, and interrupted or repeated work can incur charges.

Answers and controls

Answers can be incomplete or incorrect. Citation validation does not certify factual correctness, completeness or suitability for consequential decisions. Check the displayed evidence and originals. The app does not automatically resend interrupted work. Review the selected documents, cost notices and deletion scope before execution. Cancel remains available before starting; stopping cannot undo completed external requests.

Data and deletion

See Privacy and local storage for transmission, local retention and cleanup boundaries. Uninstalling preserves app data. Cleanup preserves original documents and separate backups. A cleanup action is not guaranteed physical erasure, and cannot delete provider-held records. No blanket waiver of mandatory consumer or privacy rights is intended.

Software and brand rights

Application code, motion code and required application images are licensed under AGPL-3.0-only as described in LICENSE and LICENSING.md. These use conditions do not restrict rights granted by that license. Third-party components retain their own licenses and notices. BRAND_USAGE.md distinguishes official identity from forks; it does not prohibit AGPL-authorized modification or redistribution.

Support and changes

Support is public-only through https://github.com/pleasereadthisforme/pleasereadthisforme/issues ; no private support channel is provided. Issues remain public until edited or deleted; closing is not deletion, and copies or notification emails cannot be recalled. For removal requests identify the issue URL without reposting personal information. For public bug reports use synthetic examples and redact credentials, personal paths and document contents. Include only app version, OS version, reproduction steps and a sanitized error. Do not upload backups or complete logs by default. Changes to these conditions will be dated and made accessible with the release.
